Once the desired cell number is reached, some 12 million, 20 cryovials are prepared with approximately 6 million cells per vial.

These vials are put in a specifically designed freezer, with a gradual temperature to -80 ° C during 24 hours.

At -80 ° C, the vials will be introduced in a liquid nitrogen tank at -196 ° C for cryopreservation.

The vials will be stored independently and they will be allowed to defrost individually without altering the others.

An alpha-numeric and color code will be assigned to each vial allowing subsequent safe identification at the time of thawing.
